Design of wind turbine foundations fixed or floating offshore

Single-pile foundations, jackets, floating structures: comprehensive foundation engineering for offshore wind farms.

Need support?

With over 13 years of experience in offshore wind energy and more than 20 completed projects, we offer our expertise to project developers, EPC contractors, and float designers. We take a holistic approach that encompasses all aspects of the product lifecycle (design, manufacturing, port logistics, transportation and installation, operation, and maintenance).

Floating Foundations

With an agnostic and independent perspective on floating platform technologies and involvement in several feasibility studies, we bring our expertise to:

  • The selection and optimization of concepts using a “target cost” approach,

  • Overall float design: Coupled simulation, time-domain fatigue calculations, structure, mooring, integrated equipment,

  • Interfacing with major turbine manufacturers, such as Siemens Gamesa, Vestas, and General Electric, for over 10 years,

  • Industrialization and manufacturing oversight,

  • Port logistics + transport and installation engineering,

  • Supervision of offshore operations.

Fixed foundations

Drawing on our extensive involvement in two major French offshore wind projects (FECAMP and COURSEULLES) and our long-standing expertise in the oil and gas sector, we offer our expertise in:

  • The design of all types of foundations (jackets, Gravity-Based Structures (GBS), or monopiles), including all integrated systems and interface management,

  • Industrialization and manufacturing oversight,

  • Port logistics + transport and installation engineering,

  • Supervision of offshore operations.

Offshore Substations (OSS)

With over 30 years of experience in the fields of living quarters and oil platforms, and involvement in OSS design for multiple projects, we provide:

  • Multidisciplinary engineering expertise,

  • The capability to handle the entire scope of engineering (foundation + technical module).
