AcHYlle tool

Preliminary sizing and optimization for green hydrogen systems and hybrid energy networks

Let's discuss your needs

AcHYlle is a pre-design and optimization tool designed for green hydrogen systems and hybrid energy networks. Largely pre-configured for quick use, it also offers advanced flexibility, allowing for fine-tuning of numerous technical and economic parameters (efficiencies, materials, operating thresholds, CAPEX/OPEX, engineering costs, storage volumes, battery characteristics, etc.).

The tool includes two modules for different purposes:

  • ProdH2: estimation of green hydrogen production from solar, wind (onshore/offshore), or mixed electricity

  • GridH2: sizing and optimization of electricity generation systems + H₂/battery storage for the management of independent grids powered by renewable energy

Initial project configuration

Select the appropriate module (ProdH2 for hydrogen production or GridH2 for independent grid management via hydrogen storage) and enter the site-specific parameters.

Sizing and configuration

Definition of renewable energy generation capacity (solar, onshore/offshore wind), electrolysis, and storage (H₂, batteries) based on project requirements. Optional adjustment of efficiencies, materials, operational thresholds, specific costs, and other factors.

Start automatic calculation

Enable the auto-optimization feature to identify the configuration that minimizes costs (CAPEX/OPEX) while adhering to the system’s technical and operational constraints.

Detailed results analysis

Review of production and energy management simulations over various time periods (day, month, year, multi-year), including an assessment of CAPEX/OPEX costs and technical performance.

Report generation and processing

Automatic generation of a PDF report containing charts, detailed data, and key metrics to facilitate decision-making.
